2) The candidates who started and finished the whole period of their secondary education ( high school ) in a foreign country apart from Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus after 01 / 02 / 2013 ( including the ones who completed the secondary education in a Turkish school recognized by Ministry of Education in a foreign country)
can apply for the abroad studentship.

No, the ones who have Turkish citizenship by birth or the ones with dual nationality who finished embassy high schools or finished foreign high schools in Turkey, cannot apply in the status of foreign nationality students or students from abroad.

Financial security record is a kind of written document or bank receipt which shows that the student has the financial sufficiency to maintain the four year education in our country. If the student is admitted to our university, FSR should be submitted in the registration.

The students can get their education visas after their admission to graduate or under graduate programmes from the nearest Turkish Councilship or in the destined country. These visas are generally valid for a month and the student has to register the university within a month. To get an education visa ;

  • Valid and long-term passport,
  • A document ( bank account, scholarship form, etc... ) to indicate the person has the sufficient financial potential to support himself / herself during the education period in Turkey

Foreign identification number consisting of 11 digits is a unique number given to foreigners who received Residence Permit / Work Permit for a certain period of time for any purpose by General Directorate of Civil Registration and Nationality. Everyone in Turkey, who is not a Turkish citizen, has an identification number given by the Republic of Turkey just like Turkish citizens. No, Gazi University does not provide self-financing foreign students or students from abroad with dormitory, scholarship, food or stationery support.

If you are in any undergraduate or graduate program in our university, you must re-apply for admission in the respective period for the students from abroad or foreign students to enroll in a different program.

Foreign nationality students can be registered for public health insurance on demand. Foreign nationality students should apply to the nearest City Directorates of Social Security. On the condition that the student pays his / her premiums, the student with public health insurance can apply to the university or public hospitals directly with their foreign ID number.
According to the law, if the person does not apply for public health insurance within 3 months of registration, he / she cannot benefit from this right afterwards.

Tuition fees and contribution margins are determined by our University’s related Board in accordance with the regulations announced by the Council of Ministers.
